The youth are adapting and imitating the “celebrity” lifestyle, whether positive or negative, it's still Hip-Hop. However, one individual, Malik Wilder, looks at Hip-Hop as a recreational scapegoat to reel the youth into his new and innovative project, “Fishing For HipHop”.
With phrases like 'Throw Back', 'Don't Bite' 'Free Style & Battling', 'Cutting & Scratching', Reel It In', Malik is letting the youth know that fishing and hip hop can be parallel to each other... and it's cool to go fishing..
Malik Wilder created Fishing For Hip Hop to raise awareness of sport fishing and boating not Violence. As the proud founder of F.I.S.H, Inc. (Finding Inspiration-Sharing Hope), www.fishinc.org. and the certified instructor for the Future Fisherman Foundations, “Hooked on Fishing-Not on Drugs” program in the Metro Atlanta, Georgia area. F.I.S.H Inc.’s campaign project Fishing For Hip Hop aims to cross market the fishing industry with the Hip-Hop culture; while raising the awareness of his non-profit organization. Wilder created a pilot Fishing TV show, conducting exciting interviews during various fishing and boating expeditions with underground and mainstream affiliates within the Hip-Hop culture.
